Dave and the boys got me all of the Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman DVDs. It's okay if you think I'm a dork.... that's a good show!
I'm not going to mention the really nice, sweet, mushy card that my parents gave me. My sister reads my blog and I don't want to bring back the bad memories of what my mom wrote in the card... you know, about me being the favorite and most loved and all :) My magical friend, Lady Leslie, got me a crazy card, which Cam has made sure I've heard no less than 27 times today, and a beautiful, brushed-steel standy uppy photo album that says "FRIENDS" on the front of it. Her comment that, ".....now that you have some," made me laugh hysterically. My boyfriend, Alex, is all ready to smile for a picture to go in the album the next time I seem him. I suppose this is better than trying to kick me in the backside which is what the ornery little dude was trying to do during his taekwondo class last night!

Hey Lori (waving wildly)!! How have you been? Have you finished painting and moving bedrooms around? I hope that you're all finished and loving the results!
I've been lurking over at HSR occasionally, but, personally, I'm a little tired of all of the drama over there. Not that I post often anyway... it's easier to mind my own business. There are a LOT of ladies over there who get their panties in a twist waaaay too easily. Others, it seems, are just looking for a way to become offended and then argue. I'm a lover, not a fighter :)

(waving back!) Well, in case anyone else is curious, we painted the kitchen- ceiling is waiting until spring when we can paint all the rooms it connects to at the same time. Desks/bookshelves are assembled for a New Improved School-a-Teria at the M______ Christian Academy and Boarding School for Girls. (Eat-in-kitchen with school desks. It's not as ugly as it sounds, really!) Bedrooms are in process of rearranging, painting will wait for spring, except for the wall we have to fix.... Ahhhh, if your neat-freakiness was contagious I'd have so much less JUNK to sort through to do this little-bitty project in my little-bitty house!
