It was feeding time for the lorikeets. I asked the boys if they wanted to go into the room and feed birds. They weren't interested. I have no idea why. I tried talking them into it because I thought it would be fun! Still - no takers. Fine! I'm not so cool that I'd pass up this experience! I handed my $3 over to the nice lorikeet food distributor lady and opened the door. I hadn't taken two steps into the room before I was dive-bombed by a zillion screeching birds! It WAS fun but a little overwhelming at first. Dave, of course, got it all on video.
Afterwards, we drove to Trinity Jewelers to pick up my newly reset diamond and my new wedding band - my sweet hubby isn't making me wait 6 more days 'til our anniversary before I can wear it - he's the best!

My only thought would be, "when the food is gone will they start pecking out my eyes?" Those guys were hungry!
Yeah, I was a little worried that they might go for my eyes at first - but they didn't. They were only interested in the nectar in the little plastic cup. I guess I won't need to get an eyepatch! ARRRRRR!
Who's the good bird? Who is the good birdie??? Who is the good bird who didn't eat my friend's eyeballs out?
