We decided to get Chinese for dinner this evening. We all plodded through the snow drifts to the car and drove to Szechuan Garden. Mmmm, it was so yummy. Dave, Ryan and I had chicken with assorted vegetables ("wegetables" is what our waitress called them) in spicy brown sauce. Cam had his usual, chicken in brown sauce, no veggies/weggies :) Here's Dave's fortune:
We thought it was pretty funny that his fortune had "a happy ending". Very grown up of us, I know.
Thanks to my pal, State Champ, I spent most of last night (after I got home from tkd) and all spare moments that I managed to have today reading this book.
Actually, I FINISHED this book - in less than 24 hours. It's a sickness, I can't help it. "My name is Tami, and I love to read." (Everyone responds, "Hi, Tami.") Anyway, it was VERY good, and I'm not usually a mystery type of book reader. Apparently I haven't been reading the right mystery books! Thanks, SC!
Oh, here's a shot I just downloaded off my camera of my beauteous friend, Wendi, and her "special" companion. She is very nice to "special" people.

Wow. I'm impressed that "Mike the Waiter" wasn't in the shot!
You missed a great night tonight! I scored 4 points on Robbie before he punched me in the face after we called "break". He was very cool and apologized for it. Great kid - freakin' tree, but great kid!
Wendi and I have been watchin' the snow go up, down, left, and right. Very cool. Reminds me of the last scene in "A Christmas Story!"
Oh yeah, an inch. Well, I've got two words for you, baby. Size matters.
I'll take four inches over a single solitary one any day. Plus also, four inches makes for better snow cream.
Is that the waiter I'm grinning with?????????
And plus, oh yeah, I love mysteries. Have you read the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evonovich? It's totally light reading, but so funny hysterical good!
Plus also, I love anything that John Sanford writes. Check him out. I've got a couple of his books here if you wanna try them. Can I borrow Kim's book now please?
I'm sure Kim will let you borrow the book as long as you can guarantee that Jimmy won't color in it or anything :) And, yes, I'll take your books to read too!
Sorry to hear about the face shot, Eaglescout. Were you injured in any way? How did he get your face anyway - were you people street sparring or something?
Actually, the face hit was done after we called "break"!
He apologized for having done that and it was no big deal. I didn't even have my hands up since we were supposed to be stopped. No worries. Glad I had the helmet on though!
I'm so happy I kept up with him and got to 4 to 4 in the points!
It was a great sparring match! They are very equally matched and much fun to watch. I'm gonna squat on the red belt class on Thursday night so I can spar with you all.
"Hi, Tami!"
"My name is Lori, and I am a compulsive reader too."
I spent most of Friday's snowstorm wondering if a good mom would let her 13-year old travel to Ohio in a WHITE church van during a SNOWstorm to attend the Dare2Share youth conference.... Thankfully, the snow stopped by the time they left.
I'd have to start my own bog if I wanted to talk about the Anime/Cosplay convention that was going on upstairs in the same convention hall..... I hear lunch in the common food court was pretty interesting.
