Jimmy earned a new patch for his Eaglescout uniform today. He successfully completed all of the requirements needed to obtain the "Delivering Crutches to the Gimpy and Infirm" patch. I'm so very proud of Jimmy! Seriously though, you're a gem ES - thanks a ton for dropping those off for me :) And thank Emma for me too, would ya?
BS bought me these way awesome boots this past weekend. He said that they're not even for Christmas or anything! I'll consider them my teacher salary for the past 4 months. Aren't they cute?
Instead of those very cute boots, however, I'm wearing this sexy number......
Don't be jealous now. After I'm done with it, I'll share it if anyone wants to use it. I kept it on all night last night during tkd so that no one would run off with it. I can see where one might be tempted............. Hey, ES, what did you find out about the whole testing/board holder situation???? Any news????

What do yo mean the tester/board holder thing? I'm so out of the loop since I haven't been to tkd in like, a year.
Red thru black belts are testing on Wednesday night. Everyone else (TT,KK & Adult White-Brown) is testing on Tuesday night. I mentioned to ES that we're going to be cutting out some competent board holders that way (CTP, my dad, Mr. Sferra). If you think about it then, that leaves: NGM, Rob, ES, Bob M. and Jeff as our only guys capable of holding boards (Chah Reot Kyeong Nae can't hold boards because of his finger and all.... a certain person who just became a second degree can't hold boards because, well... you know, Mike C. probably won't be around this cycle. Everyone else is just young and I wouldn't trust them not to flinch. "Yes Sir" puts so much counter-pressure on the board I don't want her holding it either.) So, other than the above guys and you and me.... there really aren't enough people to hold boards at testing. ES & I were wondering if it wouldn't be wise to have blue-black test on Wednesday night to pull in some more holders. He was going to mention it to Mr. D. last night. There, now you're all caught up :)
I didn't get a chance to talk with him tonight. I plan on going tomorrow during the day.
I did teach tonight and SB took the class. She did great and even punched me really hard in the stomach. Who knew she had that much anger in her?! I think she was ticked b/c I made her spar when she very specifically said she didn't want to spar. I've always said I wasn't a good listener.......
Glad you liked the crutches! I think you should let BS and myself have some fun and "pimp your ride" so to speak......
OK, what kind of board holder am I then, HUH?????
I ask you that!
OK, I get your drift.
I'm very impressed with your spelling of Cha Reot Kyeong Nae's name. I thought I was the only American who could spell it. Un-Seriously.
And yes, I did score a hit on ES tonight. And I'm not proud of it. No sir, not a bit proud. That's against all the things that a good tdo student should stand for. I should never inflict harm upon a fellow student, especially one who outranks me, even if I am married to said student and I must live every single day with his constant pledging the songham spirit of tkd before dinner........
The hard part is getting her to stand at attention!
Wendi, dear, YOU can hold boards. And, you can spar. And, you can punch ES right in the gut with great force! I'm just sayin', if Mr. D. made the cut off red and up, it would make more sense to make it blue and up - since all those belts do the same form. I am in no way disparaging your board holding skills :)
Thanks Princess. I feel so much better knowing you have faith in my holding skills. I have lots of skills, you know.
